Why a Pre-Concert Cruise Works
Starlite 2040 runs from June to August, with gates opening around 19:30 and concerts starting at 21:00. A 2-hour cruise from 17:00 to 19:00 gives you time to relax on the water, watch the sunset over La Concha, and arrive at the venue feeling refreshed. Taxis from Puerto Banús to the auditorium take 10–15 minutes – much faster than driving from Marbella centre.

Sample Itinerary for a Starlite Evening
17:00 – Board your boat at Puerto Banús (Muelle de Honor). Meet the skipper, stow bags, and enjoy welcome drinks.

Puerto Banús is roughly 8 km (5 miles) from the Starlite auditorium in the Nagüeles quarry. A taxi takes 10–15 minutes and costs about €15–20. We recommend leaving the boat by 20:00 to arrive comfortably before the 21:00 curtain.

Is there parking near Puerto Banús for Starlite guests?
Puerto Banús has several paid car parks (e.g. the underground parking at the marina, about €2/hour). However, we recommend taking a taxi to avoid traffic. The taxi rank is a 2-minute walk from our berth at the end of Muelle de Honor.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
We monitor forecasts closely. If high winds or sea conditions make the cruise unsafe, we'll offer a full refund or reschedule. Generally, Marbella enjoys 300+ sunny days a year, so cancellations are rare.
Can we bring our own food or decorations on board?
Yes – you're welcome to bring a picnic, cake, or decorations (e.g. balloons for a birthday). We provide the standard snacks and drinks, but extra catering can be arranged via WhatsApp for a supplement. Glass bottles are allowed, but please be careful with breakables.
