Bandido is our compact 11.5-metre day cruiser based in Puerto Banús, built for up to eight guests who want a relaxed Marbella charter without the formality — or the price tag — of a superyacht. She departs from the same pontoon as our larger boats, comes with a licensed Spanish skipper, fuel, drinks and snacks included, and is one of the easier boats in our line-up to secure on short notice in peak season.
Bandido specs at a glance
Bandido measures 11.5 metres and carries up to 8 guests plus skipper from Puerto Banús. She is well-suited to half-day and full-day charters along Marbella's western coastline. Unlike the 24m Mangusta 80 or the 26m Canados 86 in our fleet, Bandido is a day boat — there is no overnight cabin layout — which keeps the price approachable and the hull nimble in tighter coves like Cala del Faro and Cala Cortés.

What's included on every Bandido charter
Every charter on Bandido — and every boat in our Marbella fleet — comes with the same standard package: a licensed Spanish skipper, full fuel, water, soft drinks, beer, white wine and cava, light snacks (olives, crisps, chocolate), insurance, safety equipment and Spanish IVA at 21%. You will not be quoted a low headline rate and then surprised at the dock with a €120 fuel surcharge or a €45 ‘ice and drinks' line item; that is simply not how we price.
Best half-day route from Puerto Banús
For a two to three-hour outing, the classic Bandido itinerary is Puerto Banús → Río Verde → Marbella Marina and back, hugging the Golden Mile. You will pass Puente Romano and the Marbella Club beachfront, and — weather permitting — drop anchor for a 30 to 40-minute swim stop off Río Verde where the seabed is sandy and the water clears beautifully by mid-morning. La Concha mountain stays in view the whole way back.
Best full-day routes
With six to eight hours on the water, Bandido comfortably reaches Estepona (12 NM west) or Cabopino (10 NM east). Westbound we favour anchoring at Cala del Faro or pushing further to Sotogrande for lunch ashore; eastbound, the dunes around Cabopino are quieter than the Golden Mile beach clubs and the cruise back into Puerto Banús at golden hour is hard to beat. Most groups choose the western run for the swim quality and the eastern run for the scenery on the return leg.
Who Bandido is right for
Bandido suits couples, small families and friend groups of four to eight who want a proper Marbella day on the water without paying superyacht rates. If your group is larger than eight, look at the Azimut 39 or Astondoa 40 (both 11 pax). If you want a flybridge, full sunpads and a free jet ski, step up to the Mangusta 80. Bandido is the right call when budget, agility and a small guest count line up.
Bandido pricing and what affects it
Bandido sits outside our two published tiers. Tier A covers the Astondoa 40 and Azimut 39 at €749 for two hours up to €2,299 for eight hours; Tier B covers the 24m Mangusta 80 from €4,719 for a four-hour minimum with a jet ski thrown in. Bandido pricing is quoted on request via WhatsApp because rates shift with season (June to September peaks), day of week, and whether you want a half-day, sunset slot or full day. Send dates and group size and you will get a firm number with drinks, fuel, skipper and VAT already inside it.
Best months and weather windows
Marbella's reliable boat-charter season runs roughly May to October, with sea temperatures climbing from 17-18°C in May to 23-24°C in August. Winds on the Costa del Sol are generally light (5-12 kts) but the easterly Levante can pick up past 20 kts and chop up swim stops; westerly Poniente days are calmer and clearer. Our skippers adjust the route on the morning of your charter if conditions are unkind — you will always get sheltered water for the swim stop.
How to book Bandido
Send us the date, start time, group size and rough plan (party, swim day, family outing, sunset cruise) via WhatsApp. We confirm availability, send a quote with everything included, take a deposit to lock the slot, and meet you at the Puerto Banús pontoon 15 minutes before departure. Most bookings — even in August — confirm within a few hours. Browse the full fleet if you would like to compare Bandido against our larger boats before booking.
Frequently asked questions
How many people can Bandido take?
Bandido is licensed for up to 8 guests plus the skipper, so a group of eight friends or two families with kids works perfectly. If you are nine or more, we will move you onto the Azimut 39 or Astondoa 40 (both 11 pax) on the same Puerto Banús pontoon, with the same all-inclusive pricing structure at a slightly higher rate.
How long is Bandido?
Bandido measures 11.5 metres — a compact day cruiser rather than a flybridge yacht. That length is ideal for slipping into the smaller Marbella coves like Cala del Faro and Cala Cortés where the 24m Mangusta 80 or 26m Canados 86 cannot comfortably anchor. It also keeps fuel use and per-hour costs noticeably lower than the larger boats in our line-up.
Where does Bandido depart from?
Bandido is berthed in Puerto Banús, alongside the rest of our charter fleet. The marina is a 10-minute drive from central Marbella and around 50 minutes from Málaga airport. We share exact pontoon details the day before your charter so you can find us easily — no walking the entire marina with a cool bag and a confused group of friends.
What is included in the price?
Every Bandido charter includes a licensed Spanish skipper, fuel, water, soft drinks, beer, white wine and cava, light snacks, insurance, safety equipment and 21% Spanish VAT. There are no fuel surcharges, no drinks upcharges and no skipper tip built into the quote. Premium champagne, full catering or a DJ aboard are organised separately and quoted in advance.
Can we swim and snorkel from Bandido?
Yes — Bandido has a swim ladder and we plan at least one anchor stop on every charter longer than two hours. Favourite swim spots are Río Verde (sandy bottom, clear water by 10am) and Cala del Faro on the Estepona run. Snorkel masks are not standard kit but we can arrange them on board if you flag it when booking.
Is Bandido suitable for kids?
Absolutely. The 8-pax capacity covers most families, the skipper handles all manoeuvres so parents can relax, and life jackets in child sizes are aboard. We recommend the morning slot (10:00-13:00) for families with under-sevens — calmer sea, less sun exposure, and you are back at the marina in time for a proper lunch ashore.
How does Bandido compare to the Mangusta 80?
Different boats for different briefs. The Mangusta 80 is a 24m superyacht with a flybridge, sunpads, free jet ski and Tier B pricing from €4,719 for four hours. Bandido is an 11.5m day cruiser at a fraction of the cost. If you want yacht-life photos, choose Mangusta. If you want a relaxed day swimming and cruising with a small group, Bandido is enough.
How far in advance should I book Bandido?
For July and August, two to four weeks ahead is sensible — Saturdays in particular go fast. May, June, September and October usually have availability inside a week. Sunset slots from 18:00 book up earlier than morning slots across the whole fleet. WhatsApp us as soon as you have a date in mind and we will lock it in the same day.
