What you can do on the water
The Marbella coast is the perfect playground for a one-hour Sea-Doo session. The 200 m coastal swim-zone rule applies, but outside it you have miles of open water along the Golden Mile and east towards Cabopino. Typical 1-hour itineraries:
- Puerto Banús → Río Verde → back — quick tour past the marquee beach clubs (Nikki Beach, Ocean Club).
- Puerto Banús → Marbella Marina → back — see the Golden Mile from the water, including Marbella Club and Puente Romano.
- Combine with a yacht anchor stop — if you've booked a charter, anchor off Río Verde and let guests take turns on the jet ski for 10 minutes each.
The Sea-Doo experience
Modern Sea-Doo PWC are easy to ride — twist-grip throttle, lanyard kill switch, intuitive handlebars. The 10-minute on-the-dock briefing covers everything you need to know. You will:
- Throttle and brake. Right thumb forward to go, release to coast. Sea-Doos have an iBR brake-and-reverse system that makes docking much easier than older jet skis.
- Kill switch lanyard. Clipped to your life jacket. If you fall off, the engine stops automatically.
- The 200 m rule. Stay outside the swim-buoy line along every Marbella beach. Penalties are stiff and the Guardia Civil del Mar patrol.
- Wake awareness. Slow inside the Puerto Banús harbour mouth and when passing other boats — keep your wake low.
After the briefing you take the Sea-Doo out for a controlled lap of the marina with our staff watching, and from there you're on your own.

Anchor off Río Verde, ride the Sea-Doo for 20 minutes, back to the yacht for cava. From €4,719 for 4 hours. See Mangusta 80.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a jet ski rental in Marbella?
€200 for one hour on a Sea-Doo personal watercraft, including fuel for normal use, life jacket, on-the-dock briefing and insurance. Two-up (rider plus passenger) costs the same as solo.
Do I need a licence to ride a jet ski in Spain?
For our rentals you do not need to bring a Spanish licence — we operate under our commercial permit and provide the briefing required by Spanish maritime authorities. You'll need ID, be 18 or older, and complete a 10-minute on-the-dock briefing.
Where does the jet ski leave from?
Puerto Banús marina — the same pontoon as our yacht fleet. Arrive 15 minutes before your slot for the safety briefing.
Can I take a passenger?
Yes — every Sea-Doo we operate is rated for two riders. No extra cost for a passenger. Both rider and passenger get life jackets and are covered by the rental insurance.
What's included with the Mangusta 80 charter?
The Mangusta 80 superyacht charter (€4,719 for 4 hours) includes a Sea-Doo jet ski free for the entire day. The jet ski lives on the swim platform and you can use it during any anchor stop.
