Planning a yacht charter in Marbella but worried about dietary restrictions? Whether you need vegan, halal, gluten-free, or allergy-friendly catering, we’ve got you covered. All our boats depart from Puerto Banús and include a licensed skipper, fuel, insurance, and a complimentary bar with water, soft drinks, beer, white wine, and cava. With 48 hours’ notice, we can arrange menus that respect your needs — no fuss, no hidden fees.
What’s included in every charter?
Every booking comes with a standard catering package: water, soft drinks, beer, white wine, cava, and light snacks (chips, olives, nuts). This is included in the price — no extra charges. For example, a Tier A boat like the Astondoa 40 (€749 for 2 hours, up to 9 guests) or Azimut 39 (€749 for 2 hours, 11 guests) includes all of the above. If you have dietary restrictions, we simply swap items as needed.
Vegan menus on the water
Vegan options are straightforward. We can replace standard snacks with plant-based alternatives: hummus, vegetable crudités, vegan cheeses, fresh fruit, and dairy-free crackers. For a full vegan meal (e.g., vegan paella or tapas platter), a small supplement of €15–€30 per person applies. Larger boats like the Mangusta 80 (24m, 12 guests, from €4,719 for 4 hours) often have more galley space, making it easier to serve a hot vegan dish.
Halal catering for Muslim guests
Halal food is available on request. We work with local halal-certified suppliers to provide halal meats, seafood, and snacks. The standard drinks are all halal-friendly. If you prefer no alcohol, just let us know — we’ll skip the beer and wine. For a full halal barbecue or platter, the supplement is typically €15–€30 per person. The Ferretti 94 (29m, 12 guests) is a popular choice for large halal-friendly groups.
Allergy-friendly and gluten-free options
Common allergies (gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs) are easy to manage. We stock gluten-free bread, nut-free snacks, and dairy-free alternatives at no extra cost. For severe allergies (e.g., peanuts, shellfish), please inform us at least 48 hours ahead so we can avoid cross-contamination. You’re also welcome to bring your own safe snacks. The skipper will store them in the galley fridge.
Private chef and custom menus
For a truly bespoke experience, consider a private chef. They’ll prepare a menu tailored to your dietary needs — vegan tasting menus, halal feasts, or allergy-free kids’ meals. The supplement varies depending on the menu and boat size. Contact us for a quote. Most chefs can cook on board using the galley, but smaller boats (like the Dubhe, 8m, 5 guests) may require pre-prepared dishes.
How to book with dietary restrictions
When you make a reservation, simply mention your dietary requirements. We’ll confirm the options and any supplement (usually €15–€30 per person for full custom menus). Payment is via bank transfer or card. All prices include Spanish IVA (21%). For last-minute bookings (less than 48 hours), we may not be able to guarantee special menus, but standard swaps are usually possible.
Frequently asked questions
Can you accommodate vegan diets on a yacht charter in Marbella?
Yes. All standard charters include water, soft drinks, beer, white wine, cava, and light snacks. For a fully vegan menu, just tell us 48 hours ahead. We can swap in plant-based snacks, vegan cheeses, and fresh fruit platters at no extra cost. For a full vegan catering package (e.g., vegan paella or tapas), a small supplement of €15–€30 per person applies.
Is halal food available on Marbella yacht charters?
Absolutely. We work with local halal-certified caterers to provide halal meat, seafood, and snacks. Let us know 48 hours before departure. Standard drinks (water, soft drinks, juices) are always halal-friendly. Alcoholic beverages like beer and wine are optional and can be omitted if preferred.
What about gluten-free, nut-free, or dairy-free options?
We handle most common allergies and intolerances. Gluten-free bread, dairy-free snacks, and nut-free platters are available on request. Please specify allergies when booking. There’s no extra charge for standard swaps. For severe allergies (e.g., anaphylaxis), we recommend bringing your own EpiPen and informing the skipper.
How far in advance do I need to order special meals?
At least 48 hours before your charter. This gives our team time to source ingredients and coordinate with caterers. Last-minute requests (less than 24 hours) may not be possible, especially for halal or fully vegan menus.
Is there an extra charge for dietary-restricted catering?
Basic swaps (e.g., gluten-free crackers, vegan cheese, halal cold cuts) are included in your charter price. A full custom menu (e.g., halal barbecue, vegan three-course meal) may cost €15–€30 per person. We’ll confirm the exact supplement when you book.
Can I bring my own food or drinks on board?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Alcoholic beverages are allowed but must be consumed responsibly. The skipper reserves the right to limit alcohol if it affects safety. Our standard bar is always included, so you don’t need to bring anything.
Do you offer private chef services for special diets?
Yes. A private chef can be arranged on request (supplement varies by menu and boat size). The chef will prepare your meal on board, tailored to your dietary needs. This is popular for halal feasts, vegan tasting menus, and allergy-free kids’ meals. Contact us for a quote.
Which boats are best for groups with dietary restrictions?
All our boats can accommodate special menus. For larger groups (up to 12 guests), consider the Mangusta 80, Ferretti 94, or Azimut 58 Flybridge. For smaller, intimate charters, the Dubhe (5 pax) or Mariah SX21 (5 pax) work well. Every charter includes a licensed skipper and full insurance.
