Arriving at Ocean Club Marbella by yacht is the most stylish and practical way to visit this iconic beach club. Instead of queuing for taxis or walking along the Golden Mile, you anchor off the beach and take the tender ashore. It's seamless, VIP, and surprisingly affordable — prices start at €749 for 2 hours on a Tier A boat like the Astondoa 40. Here's how it works.

Why Arrive by Yacht at Ocean Club Marbella?

Ocean Club Marbella sits on the Golden Mile, between Marbella and Puerto Banús. The club is famous for its sunbeds, restaurant, and pool parties. Arriving by yacht elevates the experience: you avoid traffic, park for free (on the water), and make an entrance that turns heads. The tender ride from your anchored yacht to the beach takes less than two minutes.

Which Boats Can Anchor Off Ocean Club Marbella?

Any of our boats can anchor off the beach. For a small group, the Astondoa 40 (€749/2h) or Azimut 39 (€749/2h) are perfect. Both are 12.5m, carry up to 11 guests, and include a skipper who handles the anchoring and tender. For larger parties, the Mangusta 80 (€4,719/4h, includes a jet ski) or Ferretti 94 (pricing on request) offer more deck space and luxury.

How the Tender Works

Every yacht comes with a tender — a small inflatable boat with an outboard engine. Your skipper will anchor the main yacht a safe distance from the beach (typically 50–100 metres out, depending on depth and swell). The tender is then lowered or launched, and you and your guests ride it to the shore. The skipper will help you disembark and can return to the yacht if needed. The tender is included in the charter price.

What to Expect at Ocean Club Marbella

Ocean Club Marbella offers sunbeds, a pool, a restaurant, and a lively atmosphere. You can book a table or sunbed in advance (separate from the yacht charter). The club is open from May to October, with peak season in July and August. Expect temperatures of 28–35°C. Drinks and food are paid for on-site — your yacht charter includes drinks and snacks on board, so you can have a pre-club drink on the yacht before heading ashore.

Sample Itinerary: 4-Hour Charter to Ocean Club

Here's a typical 4-hour itinerary:

  • 12:00 – Depart Puerto Banús on your yacht (e.g., Azimut 39).
  • 12:10 – Anchor off Ocean Club Marbella. Enjoy drinks and snacks on board.
  • 12:30 – Take the tender ashore. Spend 2–3 hours at the club (sunbeds, lunch, swimming).
  • 15:30 – Tender back to the yacht. Cruise along the coast towards Cabopino or Estepona.
  • 16:00 – Return to Puerto Banús.

This works perfectly with a Tier A boat at €749/2h or €2,299/8h — you can extend the charter to include more cruising.
