Combine the thrill of deep-sea fishing with the romance of a sunset cruise off Puerto Banús. Our Marbella fishing and sunset combo lets you cast a line in the productive waters of the Costa del Sol, then kick back with a cold beer as the sun melts into the Mediterranean. From €749 for up to 9 guests, it's the best way to spend a day on the water—and you get to eat what you catch.

How the combo works

You choose the duration—2 hours up to a full day—and we split it into two legs. The first half is dedicated to fishing: your skipper motors out to known spots off Cabopino, Cala del Faro, or Estepona. You'll fish with provided gear and bait, targeting sea bass, bream, mackerel, and more. The second half is pure cruise: you head back towards Puerto Banús as the sky turns orange and pink, passing Marbella's Golden Mile and the silhouette of La Concha mountain. Drinks and snacks are included throughout.

Which boats can you use?

For small groups, the Astondoa 40 (12.5m, 9 pax) and Azimut 39 (12.5m, 11 pax) are ideal. Both are priced at €749 for 2 hours, €2,299 for 8 hours—skipper, fuel, and all inclusions covered. If you have a bigger party, the Mangusta 80 (24m, 12 pax) starts at €4,719 for 4 hours and includes a jet ski. See our full fleet for other options.

What's included?

  • Licensed skipper and fuel
  • Water, soft drinks, beer, white wine, cava
  • Light snacks (olives, crisps, nuts)
  • Fishing rods, reels, bait (on request)
  • Insurance and safety equipment
  • Spanish IVA (21%)

No hidden fees. You just bring sunscreen and a cooler for your catch.

Best time for the combo

Fishing is best from April to October when the water is warm and fish are active. Sunset cruises work year-round—winter sunsets are early (around 18:00) but just as beautiful. We recommend booking a 4-hour slot from 15:00 to 19:00 in summer, giving you two hours of prime fishing light and two hours of golden-hour cruising back to port.

Where you'll go

Departing from Puerto Banús, your skipper will head west towards Cabopino or east towards Cala del Faro, depending on wind and sea conditions. Both areas are known for good fishing. On the return leg, you'll cruise past Marbella's marina, the Golden Mile, and the exclusive villas of Sierra Blanca. If time allows, you can even stop for a swim in a secluded cove like Cala Cortés.

What to do with your catch

Your skipper will help clean and fillet the fish. Many guests take it to a restaurant in Puerto Banús or Marbella that will cook it for you—just ask for recommendations. Alternatively, you can barbecue it on the boat if you book a full-day charter (we can arrange a portable grill on request). Either way, fresh fish tastes best when you caught it yourself.

How long does the fishing and sunset combo last?

You can book from 2 hours up to a full day. The most popular combo is a 4-hour trip: 2 hours fishing off Cabopino or Cala del Faro, then 2 hours cruising back to Puerto Banús as the sun sets behind La Concha.

Which boats are available for this experience?

The Astondoa 40 (12.5m, 9 pax) and Azimut 39 (12.5m, 11 pax) are ideal for small groups. Both depart from Puerto Banús and are priced from €749 for 2 hours. For larger parties, consider the Mangusta 80 (24m, 12 pax) from €4,719 for 4 hours.

Can I keep the fish I catch?

Yes, you can keep your catch. The skipper will help you clean and fillet it. Many guests then take it to a local restaurant in Puerto Banús or Marbella to have it cooked for dinner—just ask your skipper for recommendations.

What fish can I expect to catch off Marbella?

Common catches include sea bass, bream, mackerel, and occasionally amberjack or dentex. The waters off Cabopino and Estepona are productive. Your skipper knows the best spots and will adjust based on conditions.

Safety comes first. If the forecast shows high winds or rough seas, we'll contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund. The skipper makes the final call on the day—Mediterranean weather is generally reliable, especially from May to October.
