Combine the thrill of an underwater scooter with the serenity of Mediterranean snorkelling on a Seabob snorkel combo Marbella charter. Departing from Puerto Banús, this 2-hour experience lets you pilot a Seabob F5 at up to 20 km/h beneath the surface, then float above seagrass meadows in a sheltered cove. The flat rate of €749 covers up to 9 guests on a premium motor yacht – no per-person add-ons, no hidden fees.

What is a Seabob snorkel combo Marbella?

Think of it as a two-act water adventure. First, you take turns riding a Seabob F5 – a battery-powered underwater scooter that tows you effortlessly through the water. You steer by tilting the handles, dive to 3–4 metres, and surface with a grin. Then, after everyone has had a go, the skipper anchors the boat in a quiet cove where you snorkel at your own pace. The whole trip lasts 2 hours, including transit time from Puerto Banús.

Which boats are used for the combo?

The experience runs on two boats from our fleet:

Both depart from Puerto Banús and are skippered by a licensed professional. You can see the full fleet on our boat rental Marbella page.

What’s included in the €749 price?

Everything you need for a carefree afternoon on the water:

There are no extras – the price you see is the price you pay. The only thing you need to bring is swimwear and a towel.

Where do you snorkel?

The skipper chooses the best cove based on sea conditions. Favourite spots include:

Both locations have calm water, minimal current, and abundant marine life – expect to see bream, sand smelt, and the occasional octopus. The skipper will point out interesting features and ensure you stay safe.

How does the Seabob work?

The Seabob F5 is a rechargeable underwater scooter that runs for about 1 hour on a full battery. You hold the handles, press the trigger, and it pulls you forward at up to 20 km/h. To dive, tilt the nose down; to surface, tilt up. The unit is neutrally buoyant, so it won't drag you down. The skipper will give a 5-minute briefing before you start, and you can ride for as long as the battery lasts (shared among the group).

Who can join?

The combo is suitable for confident swimmers aged 8 and above. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No previous Seabob experience is needed – the controls are intuitive, and the skipper is on hand to help. If you have back or neck issues, consult your doctor before riding, as the Seabob can produce sudden acceleration.

When should you book?

Between May and October, the water temperature in Marbella ranges from 18°C in May to 26°C in August, making snorkelling comfortable without a wetsuit (though we provide one). Morning slots (10:00–12:00) offer flat seas and fewer boats; afternoon slots (15:00–17:00) catch the warmest water. Book at least 48 hours in advance to secure the Seabob – we only carry one unit per charter.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Seabob snorkel combo Marbella experience?

It is a 2-hour boat charter from Puerto Banús where you take turns riding a Seabob F5 underwater scooter and snorkelling in a protected cove. The boat remains anchored nearby, and the skipper provides guidance. All equipment, drinks, and snacks are included in the €749 flat rate.

How many people can join the Seabob snorkel combo?

Up to 9 guests on the Astondoa 40, or up to 11 guests on the Azimut 39. The Seabob is used one person at a time, so smaller groups get more ride time. The price is the same for the whole group – €749 total, not per person.

Do I need a licence to ride the Seabob?

No licence is required. The Seabob F5 is intuitive – you hold the handles, press the trigger, and it pulls you along. The skipper will give a 5-minute safety briefing before you start. Minimum age is 8 years, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

What snorkelling spots do you visit?

We typically anchor at Cala del Faro or Cala Cortés, both within 15 minutes of Puerto Banús. These rocky coves have clear water, seagrass beds, and occasional bream or damselfish. The skipper chooses the best spot based on wind and swell on the day.

What is included in the €749 price?

Everything: the boat charter (Astondoa 40 or Azimut 39), licensed skipper, fuel, Seabob F5 hire, snorkel mask, fins, wetsuit, water, soft drinks, beer, cava, white wine, light snacks, insurance, and Spanish IVA (21%). No hidden extras.

Can I bring my own snorkel gear or Seabob?

You are welcome to bring your own mask and fins, but we provide professional equipment free of charge. You cannot bring a personal Seabob – our insurance covers only the unit supplied on board.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If the skipper deems conditions unsafe (high wind, thunderstorms, or big swell), you can reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund. We monitor forecasts 48 hours ahead and will contact you to offer alternatives.
