Starlite 2025 is the summer's biggest cultural draw on the Costa del Sol, and getting there should be part of the experience. A marbella boat rental for Starlite 2025 turns a simple transfer into a private pre-show party: cruise the Marbella coastline, toast with cava as the sun drops behind La Concha, then dock back in Puerto Banús and take a 10-minute taxi to the Auditorio. No Golden Mile traffic, no parking stress – just you, your group, and the Mediterranean.

Why a pre-show cruise beats driving to Starlite

Starlite's venue, the Auditorio in the Nagüeles quarry, is iconic but notoriously tricky to reach. Roads around the Golden Mile clog up from 19:00, and parking is limited. A boat charter solves that: you depart from Puerto Banús, enjoy 2 hours at sea, and return to port with time to spare. You'll arrive relaxed, refreshed, and in the right mood for a headline set.

Plus, the cruise itself is a highlight. You'll pass Marbella Marina, see the luxury villas of the Golden Mile from the water, and maybe spot dolphins near Cabopino. It's a memory before the music even starts.

What's included in every charter

No hidden extras. Every booking includes a licensed skipper, fuel, water, soft drinks, beer, white wine, cava, light snacks, insurance, safety equipment, and Spanish IVA (21%). You just bring your party spirit. For a Starlite pre-show, we recommend the cava – it's the classic aperitif.

If you have dietary preferences, let us know when booking and we'll adjust the snacks. You're also welcome to bring your own playlist – most boats have Bluetooth sound systems.

Suggested itinerary for a Starlite evening

Here's a typical pre-show plan, starting from Puerto Banús:

  • 18:00 – Board your boat at Puerto Banús, meet the skipper, and get a safety briefing.
  • 18:15 – Cruise east towards Marbella Marina and the Golden Mile. Spot the villas of celebrities from the water.
  • 19:00 – Anchor near Cala del Faro or Cala Cortés for a swim, if you're brave enough (sea temps are around 22°C in July).
  • 19:30 – Toast with cava and snacks as the sun sets behind La Concha.
  • 20:00 – Return to Puerto Banús. Taxi to the Auditorio (10 min) or enjoy the 45-minute walk along the Golden Mile.

For a longer cruise, book 4 hours and include a stop at Cabopino or even Estepona if the sea is calm.

How to book your Starlite cruise

Booking is straightforward. For Tier A boats – the Astondoa 40 and Azimut 39 – you can reserve directly online at the fixed rate of €749 for 2 hours or €2,299 for 8 hours. For the Mangusta 80, the minimum charter is 4 hours at €4,719, with a jet ski included free.

For all other yachts, send us a WhatsApp message with your date, group size, and budget. We'll confirm availability and exact pricing within hours. Early booking is essential – Starlite dates sell out quickly, especially for weekend shows.

Alternative routes: from Estepona or Sotogrande

If you're staying west of Marbella, consider a pickup from Estepona or Sotogrande. Both marinas are within a 30–40 minute cruise of Puerto Banús, and we can arrange a one-way charter that ends at Puerto Banús, so you're right at the venue's doorstep. This is a popular option for groups renting villas in Sotogrande who want to avoid the drive altogether.

Just mention your preferred pickup point when you enquire – we'll tailor the route and timing.

After the show: getting back to your boat

Most charters end at Puerto Banús, so after the concert you'll return to the port for your onward journey. Taxis are usually available outside the Auditorio, but they can be scarce after big shows – consider pre-booking a transfer or walking to the port if the weather is pleasant. If you've booked an 8-hour charter, you could also arrange for the boat to pick you up at a nearby beach – ask us for details.

Frequently asked questions

How far is Puerto Banús from the Starlite Auditorio?

Puerto Banús is about 4 km from the Starlite Auditorio in the Nagüeles quarry. A taxi takes roughly 10 minutes, or you can walk along the Golden Mile in about 45 minutes. If you book a pre-show cruise, you'll dock back at Puerto Banús around 20:00, leaving plenty of time to grab a taxi or shuttle to the venue.

What time should I book my pre-Starlite cruise?

For a sunset cruise before the concert, book a 2-hour charter starting between 18:00 and 18:30. You'll return to port by 20:00–20:30, just in time to transfer to the Auditorio. If you want a longer evening, the 4-hour option lets you cruise until 21:00 and arrive at the venue fashionably late.

Can I bring my own drinks or food on board?

You don't need to. Every charter includes water, soft drinks, beer, white wine, cava, and light snacks. For a Starlite pre-show, we recommend the cava – it's the classic aperitif. If you have specific dietary needs, let us know when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Which boats are best for a group of 10–12 friends?

For up to 12 guests, the Mangusta 80 (24m) or Ferretti 94 (29m) are ideal – they have spacious decks and flybridges. The Azimut 58 Flybridge also fits 12 and is a good middle-ground option. All depart from Puerto Banús, so you're never far from the action.

Is the jet ski included on the Mangusta 80?

Yes, the Mangusta 80 (both white and grey variants) includes a jet ski free of charge on a minimum 4-hour charter at €4,719. That's perfect if you want to make a splash before the concert. For other boats, jet skis are not included – ask about add-ons via WhatsApp.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my charter?

Safety is paramount. If the captain deems conditions unsafe, we'll reschedule your charter to another date or offer a full refund. In Marbella, summer evenings are usually calm, but we always monitor forecasts closely. You'll be informed as early as possible.
