The fireworks launch from the harbour mouth between the two breakwaters. The best views are from boats anchored just outside the harbour, 100–200m off the beach of the Golden Mile. This gives you a full, unobstructed panorama of the display and the marina lights behind it. Another option is anchoring off Cabopino, 3 NM east, where the skyline includes the whole bay. What to Expect on the Night
December evenings in Marbella average 14°C, so bring a warm jacket or jumper. The boat will be lit and heated if possible. Your skipper will anchor by 10pm so you can settle in with a glass of cava. At midnight, the fireworks launch. After the display, you can cruise back to Puerto Banús or stay anchored to watch the celebrations on land. Our 8-hour charters are ideal if you want to enjoy dinner on board or head to a restaurant after. For a shorter evening, the 2-hour option covers the fireworks and a short cruise.
How to Book Your NYE 2042 Yacht Charter
NYE is our busiest night of the year. Boats start booking in October and are usually fully reserved by mid-December. To secure your preferred boat, contact us via WhatsApp with your group size, budget, and preferred time. We will confirm availability and send a payment link. All charters are confirmed with a 50% deposit. Balance is due 7 days before departure. We recommend booking by November 2042 for the best choice.
Add a Jet Ski for Extra Fun
All Tier B charters (Mangusta 80 and Mangusta 80 Grey) include a free jet ski. You can ride it in the bay before the fireworks or during the day if you charter for 4+ hours. Jet ski use is supervised by the skipper. For other boats, jet ski rental can be added on request. It is a popular addition for NYE groups who want to combine a sunset cruise with some adrenaline.
